Thank God we don't pastor in the country I would weigh 400 pounds! Someone did take me out to their car last week to give me a rug because they don't have a house anymore.

I love chow-chow with pinto beans and cornbread!!! But, I'm also a country boy (originally from the backwoods of Mississippi). :-)

BTW, ask some of your "old-timers" if they ever heard of Grant and Mamie Williams. (They lived 2 houses down from me when I was growing up). They pastored the church there in the 1930s-- and may have been before your "old-timers" were born. But, Mamie Williams LOVED Walhalla-- said it was one of her favorites places where her husband pastored. BTW, she also said Walhalla #2 was the country church, but it really should have been Walhalla #1 b/c it was organized first. :-)

Hope life is great with you.
